Hi, hope someone can help me.

My Nitro 5 AN515-46 is constantly crashing, getting BSOD with the following messages:

  • Kernel Security Check Failure
  • Driver IRQL Less or Not Equal (afd.sys)
  • Kmode Exception Not Handled
  • Hypervisor Error
  • Critical Structure Corruption (these last two started happening today)

This has been going for a month or so. First it was only happening when I was no playing a game, then it was only happening whrn I was not playing a game and/or the laptop was not plugged in.

Here's some of the stuff I have tried:

  • Checked my memory with memtest86 (nothing came up)
  • Fresh Windows reinstall (did not solve the issue)
  • Disabled Fast Startup
  • Changed the maximum processor state to 99%

Today the issue started happening again with the laptop plugged in, plus now I have another issue when it's not detecting my monitor, but maybe that's unrelated.

I'm attaching the most recent Minidump.

The laptop is running Windows 11. Let me know if you need any other details. I would prefer not having to do another clean install if possible.
