Nitro N50-650 PSU possible replacement?

I had purchased a Nitro N50-650 back in February but noticed something strange after a couple months of use.

I dropped something which rolled behind the tower recently and as I went to pick it up, my ear got near to the power cable when there is a slight electrical arcing sound (not my video but sounds similar) along with a constant ticking sound (~4 ticks/second) even when the PC is turned off.

This only gets louder when the PC is turned on (similar to the video). I have opened the side panel and made sure it was free from dust and that there was no external factors that could be be causing the noise from the outer casing. I have since unplugged the machine and just left it there.

Now I have a couple of questions:

  1. Would this fall under warranty and if so how do I get a replacement?
  2. If I wanted to take this opportunity to upgrade to a more powerful PSU, how would I do that? All of the PSUs I can find in my local stores have a 24 pin cable which does not plug into the stock motherboard.
