Hi Everyone,

In the latest version of PredatorSense, I noticed that there is an option offering reducing charging limit to 80% to extend battery life.

Consider I always use my laptop plugged in.

Is this a good option or not?

And if not, why it's recommended by acer?

Hi @tawfikmohamed99 currently, with the new batteries it is not necessary to limit the battery charge and you can use the equipment always connected to the current feeder.

When the battery reaches 100%, the load is interrupted electronically so that there is no overload.

The only precaution that you should have if you use the equipment always connected to the current feeder is every 20/30 days disconnect the current feeder and use the equipment only with the battery until avid of low battery level, at that time, connect from New the current feeder and you have another 20/30 days.

The ideal is to always use the current feeder and only use the battery when it is impossible to connect it to the current.

    All the best.
