***Acer support / warranty is a SCAM ?***

Please find my thought below

I bought the acer product since they posted product has onsite, labor and parts warranty.

I face some issue in display screen.

I check the warrant use the below it shows, i have valid warrant for onsite, labor and parts.

Posted the service request via acer. Since there is no acknowledge email, i submit another request- No acknowledgement received for all my service requested submitted.

>> Please note: the link given by acer is not working/not usable since to acknowledgement

Service request send to acer support via email, i share the screen. and they claim , they don’t support the physical damage. I told them there is not physical damage and they can do the onsite check. and i share the another image. this time they "internal" physical demage.

I requested them, how do they clasifiy "internal" physical demange” , ask them to provide the supporting details - Till today they didnot give the supporting details keep ask me to visit the service centrer for the onsite check ask me to pay (NOT SURE WHY I NEED TO PAY SINCE MY WARRANTY COVER ONSITE)

I requested them to share the case/ticket id for my service request, after few follow up they share the ref/case id[Sensitive content] I try to track using above link but THIS LINK ALSO FAKE (since I’m always getting the error and support team not share any report even I requested few time)and I always get the below error”. “This service is temporary unavailable. Please email to acercare.sg@acer.com for service status enquiry.”

https://secured.acer.com.sg/support/enquiry/CSSEnquiry/RepairStatus.aspx

My suspect they are creating/logging the customer service request or they donot have any proper infra to keep track the customer complaints and/or proper team to manage

Above details share the acer support team, ask me to pay for the onsite which I need to pay even I have warranty for onsite, parts and labor.

I contacted the acer (seller- Lazada) but do response from them. I created the Lazada case id) , next day seller reply my message , and after check with their technical team, he reply and ask me to visit acer service center and or ask me to pay cost for the onsite and labour etc .

I requested (few time) seller to share the acer’s Case ID report. Till today he not answering my query and keep ask me to “ proceed with the onsite appointment, you must agree to the possible charges of a $30 onsite fee and an $80 labor fee “.

I donot understand, the case id report is basic for all the service company .. Not sure why seller and acer support not ready to provide this report if they have proper infra and/or support team in place

You are only talking with other Acer users here, the community isn't a direct support venue through Acer. My guess from the links you provide that you are in Singapore? If so you will have to work directly with Acer there to get any help. It sounds like you bought through a channel seller rather than directly from Acer? If there was physical damage to the unit when they shipped it to you then they should have filed a case with the shipper. If there is no physical damage then the warranty and the unit is a new one the warranty should be handled by Acer in your locale. If you are going through the vendor for warranty (and it's possible the vendor has a supplemented warranty over the one Acer provides) then you might try Acer themselves if the vendor isn't being helpful.
