Maybe the battery capacity was never registered in BIOS/Windows and after a recent Windows11 update MS APCI protocol needs to be reset. First turn the laptop over, after disconnecting everything from the ports, have a close look and you will see a small pinhole with a tiny battery sign at the back of the laptop. Push a pin gently in that hole till you feel it click (microswitch) and keep pressing for a few seconds. This resets the battery. Reboot and if still low battery issues you can try to reset BIOS with F9 in BIOS and save changes when exit BIOS. Uninstalling the MS ACPI drivers also sometimes helps, in Device Manager uninstall the two drivers on the picture (red circle) and just reboot.

If the reinstall of the battery drivers doesn't help it's likely best to contact Acer support and get a ticket started, since you should still be in warranty.

Its either the battery that is faulty and its memory is shot and it keeps wanting to be recharged and doesn't hold a charge, or the Swift 3 laptops charging power rail is faulty and needs repairing. Send your 8 months old Swift 3 laptop to Acer Tech Support as the battery and the laptop should be charging 100% and working perfectly, as Acer will either replace the battery and mainboard (as they don't repair mainboards) or the appropriate faulty component of your laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.
