I have a Nitro 5 AN515-46 that is having some power issues. It shows fully charged but if unplugged it will not boot on, and if unplugged while on it shuts off instantly. I bought the laptop in late August and had this problem before back in January (maybe started in December idr), shipped it to support in February. They replaced the battery and refreshed the BIOS and it seemed fine after that. Was not overly thrilled they swapped my branded charger for a generic one when they sent it back but seemed to work so… whatever.

Well now after windows update it's doing it again. It's still under warranty so I know I can send it to be fixed again, but with how expensive it is to ship from my state all the way to seemingly the only service place in TX I really am kind of upset this happened again so soon after they literally just replaced the battery about 4 months ago, and seemingly the battery on the brand new laptop only lasted 4 or 5 months out of the gate. So I am wondering… am I really going to have to get the battery replaced every 4-5 months? Could this be another issue that's not the battery I can maybe fix on my own? Is this a known issue with this model? I've been a laptop owner for many years and never had this issue, but this is my first Acer. Other than this issue it's been my favorite laptop I've had so it's really disappointing. Any help is welcome!
