Hi all.

I recently switched to Linux on my Acer Nitro 17 and I've been having troubles keeping my system cool. Whenever I'm doing any tasks like compilation or gaming my fans only spin up to around maybe 30 percent and leads to my system thermal throttling.

I've installed nbfc-linux and tried around 30 configs at this point, and all of them do not show even closely accurate fan speeds and don't control my fans at all. If you know any configuration that works, or any alternatives to control my fan speed, please let me know. I've tried to probe my EC and look through my system's DSDT and I'm unable to find any useful information, so if you have an idea of the correct registers to use(or know what EC these laptops use/have pictures of the mobos as I don't want to open my laptop and risk voiding warranty), it'd be really helpful.
