The last BIOS is 2014/01/27 2.21 for Windows 8.1 not for Windows10, it states Not for upgrades.

if you have problems bricking your device, you should disassemble it, dessolder the firmware chip and flash the BIOS bin using for example a ch341a programmer and solder it again. Im a technician. Let me know if you need help.

It seems there are a few potential reasons for trouble with downloading and upgrading the BIOS for your Aspire E1-571, including battery issues, compatibility problems, or even a bricked BIOS. Here's a breakdown of how to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue:
    Troubleshooting Steps:

    1. Check for Battery Issues:
Some BIOS updates require a fully charged battery or AC power. If the laptop's battery is low or not connected to power, the update might fail.
If you're getting an error about low battery, try running the update with the AC adapter plugged in.
    2. Download the Correct BIOS Update:
Ensure you're downloading the correct BIOS update file for your specific Aspire E1-571 model and current BIOS version.
You can usually find the correct BIOS update on the Acer support website.
    3. Extract and Modify (if necessary):
Some BIOS update files are self-extracting executables (.EXE).
You might need to extract the BIOS update file and then modify the platform.ini file to disable battery checks.
    4. Run the BIOS Update Utility:
Once you have the extracted BIOS update file, locate the update utility (often named something like InsydeFlash.exe).
Run the utility, following any on-screen instructions.
    5. Troubleshooting if the Update Fails:
If the update fails, it could be due to a variety of reasons, including a faulty BIOS update file or a corrupted BIOS.
You might need to try flashing the BIOS manually, which involves disassembling the laptop, desoldering the BIOS chip, and flashing it using a special programmer.
If you're not comfortable with manual flashing, you can consider contacting Acer support for assistance.
    6. Bricked BIOS:
If the laptop is completely unresponsive after a failed BIOS update, it might be bricked. In this case, you'll need to find a way to recover the BIOS, which may involve manually flashing it.
This Win-Raid forum post provides some steps for fixing a bricked BIOS on an Acer E1-571G.
      Important Considerations:
Back up your data before attempting a BIOS update. BIOS updates can sometimes cause data loss if they fail.
Do not interrupt the BIOS update process. If the update fails, the laptop might become unusable.
Make sure you have the correct BIOS file for your specific model. Installing the wrong BIOS file can cause serious issues.
