Gateway ZX6980-UB308 Can I upgrade the ACER motherboard to a compatible replacement?

Having issues with the black screen on my Gateway ZX6980-UB308 on startup. I can't access my BIOS screen and I've replaced the battery, did the jumper switch, and replaced memory. The HDMI function works fine- it's the PC mode that I cannot get any graphics. Any suggestions? Compatible motherboard replacement it TOO expensive for a computer I picked up for less than 100. Thank you!

That's the biggest issue with an all-in-one. They are designed more like a laptop than a traditional desktop, so the motherboards are usually a custom form factor. That model is old enough that it might be tough to find parts on the secondary markets. You are likely to find that it's easier to find another full unit than a motherboard itself.
