My Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-58) got stuck at 0% (Because accidentally drained it to 0%) and now randomly rises up and down when it is unplugged. The laptop can't be turned on unless plugged to the AC adapter.

I tried to check the powercfg /batteryreport yesterday and it says that yesterday's last night it was on 101% (55.871 mWh (below capacity but it says it was 101%)) (although it was stuck at 0% all the time i think). And it says it drops slowly to 0% when I plugged in the charger. but without the charger, I can't turn on the laptop.

I wanted to buy a new battery but still not sure if it is the battery fault or the system's cuz last time it says the battery was 662 mwh left in the capacity.

Depleting a Li-Ion battery to zero disables the Smart chip functions and charging will be blocked (fire security feature). You can have the battery repaired (new chip) or better buy a new battery. I don't know how you managed to drain your battery to zero as this is impossible with the new Windows11 Modern Standby protocol. You should reset your Power Plan to factory default in "Edit Power Plan" in Windows and disable any battery monitoring bloatware and the 80% battery charge limiter in Acer Care. https://www.laptopbatterydirect.com.au/acer-battery/nitro-5-an515-58-51t5-battery-acer.htm

The laptop didn't get drained to 0% the last time it still works. instead, it hibernated at 5% and I left it uncharged for about 1-2 days. When I charged it back, the battery gets back to 100% but slowly drained by itself to 0% (-4% every hour. idk why it's constant -4% drain every hour) while its charging and isn't turned on (based on the "last 24 hours" in the battery levels settings) and it got stuck in 0%. But sometimes and randomly, it can go back to 100% in the middle of the night when I don't use it and isn't plugged (checked the "last 24 hours" every day in the settings). It slowly drained again to 0% when I plugged in the charger.

Well, you wrote that the battery "drained to 0%"? You can try resetting BIOS to factory default, press F9 in BIOS and save changes on exit Bios. In Windows Device Manager uninstall these 2 battery drivers (see red circle picture) and just reboot. If still the same issue I recommend you replace the battery.
