Hello

I’m planning to install Linux as a dualboot after purchase, so I want to make sure whether these features are bundled with Windows or in the firmware:

  • The AMD AI thing
  • PurifiedView & Voice
  • Pixel-shifting software to avoid OLED burn in (if there’s even any in the first place)

I mostly only care about the last point, the rest would be nice to have but not really essential.

It's worth noting that there are least three different SFE16 base models, with many, many SKUs for each. It would help to answer this type of question to know just which one you are looking at. If it's the latest series, SFE16-44-xxxx, it's new enough that we don't yet have access to a service guide. Typically running Linux on a laptop with all functionality requires the laptop design to be a year or so old, so the Linux developers have enough time to port the drivers needed.
