The 2023-11 Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) keeps appearing on the windows update section on the settings but the system keeps showing: (We didn't find any updates that are published for your edition at this time. We'll try again when the next scheduled update is published.) Why does it keep appearing in the windows update section even if it is not found.

Hi @ServoSG90motor that update (KB40) is old, is your version of Windows Home or Pro?
Is your version of Windows the original or did you go from the Home version to the Pro version?
The current quality updates go for the KB50.While waiting for your answers, apply this procedure:

@Alejandro_AC I'm using the Windows Home and it's original. I accidentally spilled water on my laptop, and it broke and got unfixed for about 4 months at the time that update (KB40) was released. after fixing it and updating the laptop to an update that is newer than the KB40 update, the old KB40 update keeps reappearing every time I'm going to update.

I understand, have you tried to reset or reinstall Windows'?
