As you see I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55, windows 11 home 64-bit. As of now here are the two issues it’s having

  1. When putting it on, after pressing the power button the fan spins for a few seconds then stops, leading to my laptop not coming on for a significant amount of time before coming on, so far it seems I have to let it sit for a while(1hr 30mins minimum) then put it off(using the power button) and then put it on, for it to boot up.

This then leads to the second issue.

I can’t boot up my laptop without having to plug in an HDMI cable to my laptop to see what is going on cause after the Acer logo pops up for the initial boot, the screen goes black and I can’t do anything. And if I log in, using the TV as a monitor and decide to unplug the HDMI, after 30mins my laptop screen instantly goes black and plugging the HDMI back in would not work. So I’ll have to shut down my laptop using the power button.

Which means I’ll have to restart the whole process again from the first booting problem.

Sorry if this is too long, but I needed to explain what is exactly happening in detail.

The problem that you could be experiencing is that your Nitro 5 AN515-56 EC chip is frozen and needs resetting, do a hard reset first by removing the eleven (11) screws securing the lower case and then take the main battery out first, then disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and short this batteries mainboard +&- pins to reset CMOS then take the ram out. Leave the laptop like that for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight) and then reconnect all components and reboot the laptop, this should reset the bios and EC chip and chipset chips to default settings.

Take RTC battery out and short this plugs +&- pins with a metal object to reset CMOS

If this reset doesn't fix the problems that you are having, then take your laptop to either Acer Tech Support in your country or an experienced technician that can analyze your laptops faults and fix them as it could be from an eDP cable/plug short, a screen fault etc etc which needs an expert technician to analyze. Good luck.
