Upgrade of Killer E2600 1Gbps Ethernet card to 10Gbps internet speed on PO3-640. Thanks.

I have replaced the Intel WiFi AX211 to Killer BE1750x but my wired internet speed is capped at 1Gbps. May I know anyway to upgrade my internet speed to 5Gpbs or 10Gbps. As the PO3-640 has no PICe slots and space for 10Gbps PICe Network card and the Type-c port is not compatible with OWC Thunderbolts 3 RJ45 Ethernet adapter. Help is needed!

IMO 1,000 Mbps is the maximum Wi-Fi limit, Speedtest.net gauge only goes to 100 Mbps. Check with your ISP what the max. bandwidth is in your area and what your Internet plan speed is capped at.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I subcribed to 10Gbps Internet Plan (UltraSpeed 10Gbps WIFI 7 Plan), in this case my ISP bandwidth is 10Gbps and the Intel Killer E2600 max. bandwidth is capped at 1Gbps, that's why I would like to upgrade the Killer E2600 Ethernet controller to enjoy higher bandwidth on wired connection. By the way my wifi speed is around 1900mbps up/down with the killer be1750x.

The PO3-640 doesn't really have a good way to bump the Ethernet over the 1Gbps of the stock port. There isn't a spare x16 PCIe slot on that motherboard, and the one that it does have it pretty much dedicated to the GPU. Your best bet for higher throughput is to get a USB-C to 10Gbps Ethernet adapter, though I would be surprised if you were able to fully reach 10G throughput. Theoretically possible I suppose, since USB-C 3.2 is rated at 20Gbps…
