Acer 24 XVY242Y My monitor is able to display only 60hz.

My monitor (Acer 24 XVY242Y) that is supposed to display 165hz on overclock and 144hz normally, displays only up to 60hz. When i try to change it past that, my whole screen just goes black with maybe 10 pixels-high line that works. I use DP cable and changing it from 1.4 to 1.2 doesent work. Also, some games (like league of legends) do not let me go full screen, or they do the same thing (whole screen goes black). my GPU is Geforce RTX 4070 OC 12gb ram. but it's not faulty, maybe it has to do something with gpu not being able to use 1.2/1.4 dp cable but i don't really know. I would be very happy if someone might be able to help me.

Did you try to switch to a different DP cable or use the HDMI connection?
