Acer Swift go 14 i5 13500h is overheating with the given charger. So Can I use a phone charger?

My laptop (acer swift go 14 i5 13500h) is a bot overheating with the given charger...I don't know why?? So I want to use a phone charger of same power rating. Can I do that?

    No, you can't use a phone charger to charge a laptop, you need to use the 100-Watt Laptop USB-C charger with a fixed, 15 Amp, thick USB cable, like the one that came with your Swift Go 14. The reason the laptop gets hot is that you don't keep the battery 100% charged so when you finally plug in the charger and the battery is (almost) depleted the charger switches to high power to fast charge the battery and if you are working during this (fast) charging process or playing games with the OLED on 100% brightness and high performance plan (turbo boost) that will generate a lot of heat. Having multi programs and bloatware running at the background will put extra stress on the GPU that also generates heat, you can increase the fan speed with Acer Quick Access or AcerSense (System Usage Mode):
