I have been trying to solve this issue through Arch wiki forums and lots of other websites that seem to provide a 'workaround' for this issue but with some sacrifice of performance and/or battery life. I have never tried those fixes, but I am in need of dual booting Linux and windows, as my work requires Linux and personally, I need windows to play a few games.

I tried mostly all distros like Linux mint, ubuntu, arch, endeavour OS, Zorin OS etc. Still, on each and every distro, I get random freezes with only option to hard power off.

Is there anything I am missing that could solve the problem? Did Acer try to mitigate this issue (because some forums say that updating BIOS added a few options that have solved the problem for them)?
