nitro n50-600-EB1C How to improve performance / upgrade.
Hello everyone! I have a desktop, the nitro n50-600-EB1C and I’m looking for some information about what I can do to make it better. I purchased the computer roughly 4-5 years ago and am noticing that it’s having trouble keeping up.
I play FPS games mainly, enjoying escape from tarkov, rust, dayz, etc and I notice that I never have smooth sailing. I would say I average between 50-90 frames depending on the settings and what other programs I have open but I definitely notice that I get drops below 60 a lot with stuttering on almost every game I play. Games like valorant, rocket league and cs2 run perfectly but when I branch out into these other games I lag.
I’m not too tech savvy and I don’t really know how to check my pc parts but my specs are:
GPU: nvidia GeForce gtx 1650 4gb
CPU: 9th gen intel core i5 processor 9400f
RAM: 12gb ddr4 (not sure how to find the specific ram)
Like I said I’m not too tech savvy but I assume that my ram could be on the lower end, but I’m not sure about the other two.
I would like to know what I can upgrade on the computer itself to make it run better, I have absolutely no idea how to check what is compatible and such.

With 12GB RAM (4+8GB?) you are not running at maximum speed. The system supports a total of 64GB with 2 RAM slots, its best to upgrade this desktop with DDR4-3200MHz CL22. Avoid XMP overclocked type RAM modules. 2x8GB or 2x16GB in Dual Channel runs much faster than Single Channel RAM that you have now. https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4dfra32a/ct18790667?_gl=1*otmseg*_up*MQ..*_ga*OTAwNzkwNzkxLjE3MTQ2MDk3Mzg.*_ga_6H4RYWV7QY*MTcxNDYwOTczOC4xLjAuMTcxNDYwOTczOC4wLjAuODg2NDg3MDk4

The top of the range Nitro N50-600 desktop comes fitted with an i9-9900 cpu and a GEFORCE RTX 2070.8GB GDDR6. 256B.7000MHz GPU and max capacity ram of 64GB at 4x 16GB DDR4-2666MHz type ram and all this is powered by a 500W Acer proprietary PSU. So, these are the hardware updates that you can do, and the part numbers and guides are listed below from the N50-600 service guide.
When you update the cpu to the i9-9000 I suggest that you also update the bios of the N50-600 desktop to the last provided Acer bios version R01-D1 dated: 2020/07/17 titled: Fixed Intel SA00307 ME security vulnerability, as having this last bios version installed you are installing the bios accumulatively which means that all the other bios version are included in this last bios version which will relate to the i9-9900 cpu that needs a cpu update to function properly. Good luck.
These are the parts that you need, which are a different cpu, more ram, a better gpu and the top power 500W PSU so that your Nitro N50-600 can operate with the Acer parts below.
