Can You Please Give Me Control Over Image Refresh Prompts

I'm an adult. I actively made a decision to buy an OLED monitor full well knowing the risk.
I make enough money per year using said monitor, that I can replace it every 12 months if I have to. .. And I can tell you right now, unless I'm given the respect and autonomy to use my peripherals however I need to, you will not retain me as a customer.

I bought the monitor to use it. I'm an extremely heavy power user that makes a good living off of the devices and peripherals at my disposal, and I wanted to make that decision sometime within the first month of experiencing what it was like. I only intended on going through that period of discovery once, and then make my decision and move on with my life. I didn't want to have to make that decision again, and again, and again every ~1-4 hours for the rest of eternity.

Why even give me a prompt? Why not just turn the monitor off whenever you want? Honestly, if you care that much about my monitor why don't you just go ahead and plug it into your computer. Then you can make sure the OSD image is refreshed.

Do you realize how absolutely assanine it is to not give consumers the option to disregard the warning? I've already read the other responses, and yes, I understand how burn in and OLEDs work, but do you understand how autonomy works? Can you imagine that I don't feel very good spending this amount of money and having an otherwise wonderful monitor become a burden?

I'm happy to void any warranty or whatever else I need to do to use my monitor however I want to, because that's why I bought it. Any direction on how to do that would be appreciated. If it's not possible at all through any reasonable means I'd really appreciate an address to be able to forward my concerns to. I'd really like to hear a high level justification of why you cannot, as a business, let me turn off this warning.
Or I want the ability to turn it off.
Either one of those 2 things need to happen though or I'll just not ever purchase your products again, nor will they be recommended to anyone I know. Nothing personal, it's just business.

Look forward to hearing back.

First thing… You don't actually seem to say just what prompt you are talking about. :) I assume it's maybe something to do with a warning the monitor is going to shut down to save power? Also, you are only talking with other Acer users here, the forum isn't a connection to Acer support. You should likely contact Acer with complaints if you want much of a chance that they will lead to changes.
