Hey everyone,
couldn´t find the answer, so if it is already asked, i´m sorry…
I use my chromebook 317 for personal use and work. For work i have to connect to a server and than it starts….
1. The numeric pad at the right is not working. Instead of numbers, it acts like arrows (while when i´m not on the server, numbers work fine)
2. Also, when i use excel, the point doesn´t act like a digital, but as a ¨text¨ point. I could solve that by change language or keyboard, but then i have to change it back everytime i use my chromebook outside work-server.
Anyone?

Those numeric keypad faults happen in the environment that you work in and is specific to your server, consult your server IT for a solution as its not an Acer keyboard fault. Good luck.

Which Chromebook 317 model do you have? There have been a lot of different ones over the years. It would also help to know which language yours is setup for, since the keyboard are different for different languages. Most keyboards that have the numeric keypad also have a Num Lk key to enable/disable.
