I have predator 17 G9-793. When I played game in ultra graphic options, the right dynamic have a static noise. A few days later laptop is turn off, when I played game. I installed official drivers sound but it not help. I think that reason of this is a high temperature on cpu and gpu. It was a 65 degree cpu and 78 gpu hotpost. I cleaned the coolers and replaced thermal paste and battery (it has 72% damage). After that cpu have 45 degree and gpu hotpost 65. But it not help me and laptop is turn off again. What else should I do?

Check the 8 years old 230W 19.5V power adapter if its not faulty and it turns the power off while drawing high current, as a laptop turning off during a high current gaming stage is because the adapter can't keep supply of power required for the laptop to operate in gaming. Try a 280W power adapter and see if it solves the powers draw problem and stops the laptop turning off in high end gaming.

Remember that your laptop is 8 years old and its circuitries could be worn out and need replacing, as and if the problem still persists then the power off problem is in the laptops main power rail that is overheating and its capacitor or a mosat is failing and turning the laptop off when the laptops max capacity current is flowing through these circuits as its overheating and needs replacing.

You need to take your laptop to an experienced technician that has the experience to diagnose the power rail of your laptop and fix the appropriate circuitries that are overheating and causing the power failure as you can’t fix this problem yourself by any resetting of the software or a battery change as its in the main power rail. Good luck.
