Hello all! I am hoping someone can assist me with this project I am working on. I am not that computer savvy, but I am trying... I want to turn my Acer Aspire TC875 UR13 into at least a decent gaming PC. My hope is that one of you geniuses can help me figure out which of these options can work. Here is what I've currently got in my possession from either my own purchase or friends (not much) :

2x8GB RAM

Radeon RX 6600

The issue I'm running into is I need at least 500w from my power supply and the stock one is 300w. Please go through my proposed options and let me know which ones will work, and which ones wouldn't. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated!!

PSU option 1:

https://www.sparepartworld.com/laptop-spare-parts/internal-power-supplies/internal-power-supplies-dc.5001h.001-97395835

I know this option would work as it's the 500w of the one I currently have. However, I am hoping other options are possible as I feel like $122 for a 500w power supply is too expensive.

Option 2:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/364493319014?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=364493319014&targetid=2295557532910&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9014961&poi=&campaignid=19851828444&mkgroupid=160536780385&rlsatarget=pla-2295557532910&abcId=9307249&merchantid=5294144671&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlZixBhCoARIsAIC745CN-9c-p8yB-9y3NyZlcj9OI-n4YSLyFI8H4KIBNfo-FJfTPu0OklEaAtpYEALw_wcB

This is an option I came across today. It looks like it's got an 8pin for the gpu? Maybe? A 6pin for the main power connection, and a 4 pin for the spot next to the CPU, whatever that's called? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this option SHOULD work right? It feels a lot more reasonable price wise to me.

Option 3:

Now we get into the weird stuff. These are just regular 24 (20+4) pin power connector options that would need an adapter to work with my motherboard. I am more than welcome to other cheaper/more quality options IF these would work. Here are a few adapters I'd consider, please help me figure out if these would work:

https://www.moddiy.com/products/Main-Power-24-Pin-to-6-Pin-Adapter-Cable-for-Dell-OptiPlex-3040-3050-3060.html

This one is for Dell Optiplex wondering if it could be used for my Acer?

https://www.walmart.com/ip/GENEMA-24-Pin-to-6-Pin-ATX-Power-Adapter-Cable-for-HP-Z220-Z230-SFF-MT-TWR-Series-4000/848388143?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101115464&adid=22222222228848388143_101115464_150174281446_18612869738&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=666392140503&wl4=aud-393207457166:pla-1935177533178&wl5=9014961&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=523354101&wl11=online&wl12=848388143_101115464&veh=sem&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlZixBhCoARIsAIC745Dl4UTdgWKovcsUFXrIBuQY_ZpBnsjrLm6zi0ytW-oaQ3aMfIQDaacaAvKKEALw_wcB This one says it is for HP, wondering if it could work or if that's a bad thing to try?

This is really as far as I've gotten and am really excited to figure this all out. I am open to ANY and ALL ideas. I know this is a long read so I want you to know any help you provide me is really going to be appreciated. Hope everybody is having a good day!

The Aspire TC-875 desktop has a mainboard with an ATX_12V - Auxiliary 4-pin power connector and an ATX_POWER - 6-pin ATX power connector your best alternative is to use the Aspire TC-1660 desktops PSU (see caption below) that is the same and the TC-1660 has a 500W PSU, you don't need a 24pin PSU as you are restricted to these PSUs and an adapter is not the solution with a 24pin. If you want to upgrade the gpu use the TC-1660 gpu's that Acer fitted to that desktop like the GEFORCE GTX 1650.4GB GDDR5.128B.8000MHz or the GIGABYTE GTX 1660 Ti Mini ITX 4GB as these cards will work perfectly and be a good upgrade for your desktop. Good luck
