Creating USB "factory default" recovery USB for Aspire AN17-51

I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered; my only excuse is that I'm a newbie here. I have recently purchased an AN17-51 and I want to create a factory default USB recovery drive, in case the C drive SSD becomes totally U/S, or if I want to change the C drive for a larger one. I have downloaded the User Guide for this model from the Acer website, but there seems to be no specific reference to creating an externally bootable recovery USB that can recreate the original drive on a totally new SSD. I have been using various Acer laptops for more than fifteen years, but in the past, there have always been instructions available for creating USB (or earlier DVD) system restores.

Can anyone help?

Get a 20GB USB 3.0 flash drive ($5-$10) and stick that in the USB 3.0 port of your AN17-51 laptop. Boot to Windows11 and type Recovery in the Search bar you will see Create a Recovery drive and click Yes (see picture)

Check that the Back up system files option is enabled and click next, takes about 20 minutes to make. All the Acer OEM programs will be included for recovery. Once a year or after a major upgrade, Reset or Clean install you should make a new one.

Thank you for this information. Assuming that the original SSD has been replaced, possibly with a larger one, will this recovery process format the new drive as well? With earlier Acer laptops (I'm currently using a fairly ancient V3-772G), the created USB recovery drive did all the formatting and even put the hidden recovery partitions in the correct places according to the new drive size.
