Aspire 5 taking forever to get past boot screen

Hello, my Acer aspire 5 won't get past the boot screen (the screen after pressing the power button); I've tried entering BIOS or just waiting it out (the latter I did for an hour and a half) but it just won't go past the screen! I've tried restarting it several times but all it does is show "preparing automatic repair" every third time I attempt to restarting it; which also just stays at the same boot screen, not even going to WinRE! Any help would be appreciated.

You can start WindowsRE out of Windows by pressing Alt+F10 as soon as you see the Acer logo and if that fails by booting with the Windows Recovery USB flash drive that you can make on another PC with the same Windows version: Insert a 20GB flash drive in the USB 3.0 port, boot to Windows and type Recovery in Search (see picture). Once you are in WindowsRE you select Reset this PC in the Troubleshoot menu, either without or with losing your files whatever works.
