I have this acer nitro i511400h/rtx 3050ti laptop. I've been using it before to play dota 2 and the temp are between 60-80°. After bringing to the service center for a thermal paste repaste and fan cleaning, I've been getting temps between 85-92°. I'm not sure if the bios update also affects the temps but the bios version before was 1.17 and the technician from acer service center upgraded it to 1.20 and now I've been getting high temps.

Do you encounter the same problem and how did you deal with it. Thanks!

It sounds like you're experiencing higher temperatures after a thermal paste replacement and BIOS update on your Acer Nitro laptop. It seems like your laptop is running hotter after getting some maintenance done. The BIOS update might be a factor, but such a big jump in temperature is unusual. You should contact Acer support about it. Make sure the thermal paste was applied correctly and that the fans are working fine. If the problem continues, it's best to ask for more help from Acer or a technician you trust.
