VM4690G Does BIOS flash exe take any command line switches?

Hello,

I recently had a motherboard replaced due to a broken USB port. When it came back the system information/product name was "Default string." This is a problem because at my workplace PC's are imaged through the LAN and the task sequence looks for a model name such as "VM4690G" in order to apply the relevant image. I have reflashed the BIOS with various versions from the Acer website but none of them replace "Default string" with the model name. Is there a command line switch I can apply, for example

>R01-A3.exe /ss="VM4690G"

[Edited the thread to add model name to the title]

Nope, only the factory repair centers have the hardware needed to reprogram the BIOS to get the right string and serial number in. Acer should have done that for you when they replaced the MB.
