Nitro ANV15-51 Laptop will not wake after sleeping!

Yesterday I did a clean install of Windows 11 in order to get rid of preinstalled apps. I can't recall if the problem had already existed yesterday but today when I closed the lid of the laptop and opened it, the laptop does not automatically wake up. The indicator light on the side flashes orange when the lid is closed and blue when it is opened. The blacklight on the keyboard also turns back on when the lid is opened, the laptop seems to know whether the lid is opened or closed, however the screen remains black. The only way I've found to solve this issue is by restarting by long pressing power button or by tapping space bar for 30 seconds then it finally wakes up. After doing a clean install of Windows 11 it seems to have lost the ability to automatically wake up, even manually waking it up takes a really long time.

Model: Nitro ANV15-51

    Hi @BottleOJamie,

Please check if these power options are enabled, press Win + R > type control > click on ok > select power options > on the left side click on choose what closing the lid does > here change it to do nothing. Also, disable hibernate option.

check and share us an update.

Windows switches from Sleep to Hibernate mode after some time and that's why it won't wake by opening the lid. Like stated above disable Hibernate but also Fast Startup in "Change what closing the lid does" and "Change settings currently unavailable", then reset your power plan to factory defaults in "Edir Power Plan". As you used the Power Button "long pressing" to abort there maybe system files that need repairing: Go online and open Command Prompt as administrator, paste this:
Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and press Return, the paste this command: SFC /scannow that should end with: "…did not find any integrity violations", repeat SFC till you get that.

Your solution makes the laptop screen now turns on after the lid is closed and opened but the problem is that whenever my laptop goes into sleep mode it becomes unusable until restarted by long pressing power button. While this could be a temporary fix, I still want by laptop to have the ability to sleeping instead of the screen turning off while everything else is thing running.

I would suggest you to ensure your windows is up to date and try this..

Windows + R > msconfig > click on services > check the box that says hide all microsoft services > click on disable all > apply and restart the device.
