Hi, i just swapped my Acer Predator Orion PO3-620 case to a Msi case. The new fans in the new case have 3 pin PVM Kable so i cant control the Fan speed. The speed is at 1200 rpm all the time wich in my opinion isnt necesarry. I want to decrease the fan speed. Does anyone have a idea on how i do it. Is there maybe a option in the BIOS to change the fan mode from PVM to DC?

No option in the BIOS, you really need to use the right type of fans to get speed control.

And there isnt any program through wich you can control the fan voltage to lower the rpm?

    What case did you get?

It would be easiest to replace case fans good after market fans of your choosing. Usually the fans that come included are not that good.

You should be able to use a fan hub/potentiometer, but that would be a manual way to adjust the RPMs.

One way to lower the speed and noise would be to buy 3-pin low-noise adapters, that will lower the voltage and therefore the fan speed.

It a Msi mag forge 112r it has really good fans (already 4 included) so i dont want to change them. Im just thinking to upgrade Mainboard and PSU. Then everything would be solved.

That's one way to do it. But if you get a new mobo, you'll need a new PSU as well. The one you have now can't be used with a regular motherboard. :(

The PSU is due to the Intel spec for new machines, which has a requirement for 12VO supplies. The MB has that 'diving board' out the front because it's cheaper to build and most 3000 customers are very price conscious, or else they'd be getting a 5000 or 7000 design.
