Try to Setup New Acer Aspire A315 AMD CPU for the first time. After reaching to Wi-Fi Screen it could not move forward, since WIFI has been disabled (in Airplane Mode) and tried lot pressing Airplane Mode button (Combined with Function/Media Keys), but could not activate it or move beyond this screen. There is no any indicators/Light or anything to tell which Wi-Fi mode you are in. Laptop don't have RJ45 port to connect to LAN. Is there Full Windows Image available or Any other solutions to Setup Windows 11 Offline? Thanks!

    Hi Puraw,

    Thank you!

While I appreciate the article link, this Acer laptop only comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, and it appears to require an internet connection during setup. Since I intend to use the laptop offline, creating a Microsoft account is unnecessary.

The problem arises when I try to bypass the online setup by disabling Wi-Fi during the initial process. Unfortunately, even after disabling Wi-Fi, I'm unable to boot from a FreeDOS or Linux (Ubuntu) installation media due to the Secure Boot feature in the BIOS. Additionally, there seem to be no readily available drivers for other operating systems like Windows 8, 10, or Linux.

This situation suggests a limitation imposed by Acer and Microsoft, restricting users to Windows 11 and potentially requiring an internet connection. It feels like there's limited freedom to explore alternative operating systems or avoid online accounts or learn, explore new technologies.

Did you buy a FREE DOS laptop, what do you mean with "Install FULL Windows 11" that is not a new system setup routine.

Finally managed to resolve the issue by disregarding Window 11 Setup and installing latest version of Ubuntu (Open Source Linux). It detected most of the important drivers needed (WIFI and Touchpad-who cares rest). Thank you Microsoft!
