Excessive Fan Noise on Recently Purchased Laptop [Acer A715-76G]

Hi everyone,

I purchased an Acer laptop last December, and I've noticed that the fan is consistently loud even during simple tasks like browsing the internet. I've already tried adjusting the power management settings, including setting the charging limit to 80% and using the Fn+F key to switch Performance Mode, but the noise persists. Are there any other troubleshooting steps or solutions I can try to reduce the fan noise? I appreciate any advice or suggestions you can provide. Thank you!

You can't adjust the fans speeds on the Aspire laptop like the gaming Nitro and Predator sense software do, the speeds and settings that your laptop has is what is preset from Acer and can't be changed. Don't try to alter these settings as you will cause permanent damage to your laptop. If you want a gaming laptop that has adjustable fans then buy a Nitro or a Predator laptop. Good luck.

Right click tray speaker icon. Click 'open sound settings'. Click 'sound control panel' in right pane. Right click speakers. Click properties. Click advanced tab. Make sure hardware acceleration box is unchecked.
