How can I upgrade my laptop while it has a warranty void if seal broken sticker? (AN515-58)

Hello, I just bought a notebook Acer nitro 5 model AN515-58 about 4 months ago. Today I went to buy an SSD M.2 and RAM 16 GB. I was about to start upgrading. I see a "warranty void if seal is broken" sticker. Can I remove the back cover? And will my warranty be canceled?

I bought this laptop in Thailand

Thanks for the answer in advance. 😄🙏🏼

Yes, you can upgrade the RAM modules and SSD but make sure that all peripherals are removed, that the system is not in sleep, hibernate or hybrid mode (fast Startup) mode but completely shut down, and then disconnect the battery, and get a professional precision laptop screwdriver set (DIY or PC accessories shop). be very careful unscrewing/tightening these tiny screw as they have been factory locked with a compound (glue) and strip very easy or the bottom brass thread inserts may brake lose if you apply too much force. Some countries are very strict like Singapore and will automatically void the warranty when a laptop cover has been found opened but most other SE Asian countries like the Philippines don't enforce the Acer warranty policy, unless you touch/open other components or disassemble the motherboard. To play it safe you can ask Acer Services in your country to do the upgrading, but they will only install Acer endorsed components. Don't be tempted to clean the motherboard, change thermal paste/pads or disconnect anything other than the SODIMMs and PCIe SSD slot. 😉
