As the topic says, after my son did a windows update the[Sensitive content Hidden] capslock popup appeared once again, and we did what we did last time.. deleted the images in the acer/image directory, and we disabled the normal stuff in quick accsess and disabled it from starting.. reboot..

Neither of these successfully solved the problem..

He is running a Nitro 16 laptop.

Completely Uninstall quick access. Use revo Uninstaller .( If you already Uninstalled then install it again and Uninstall using revo Uninstaller)

-Download the free version of Revo uninstaller and uninstalled Quick access with it. It's important to let revo scan after uninstall because it'll find garbage files in registry that sense leaves behind and probably corrupts any new install.

I understand you say "after my son did a windows update the[Sensitive content Hidden] capslock popup appeared"

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin or Terminal admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fineclick on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..
Try and check whether it is working now ..

Try windows + r - on run window type appwiz.cpl

    remove quick access

    restart the computer

    It should work fine.

My son fixed it by some wierd combo of the above and someting else, so its a fixed problem.. :P

But man.. its a gaming laptop, there should not be extra pop ups on it from the get go.. Acer should really look at what junk they install by default. And if it is a windows issue, then they should disable it on gaming laptops from the get go.. :P nobody asked for it.. and nobody likes it.. ;)
