Click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, and type Device Manager into the Search bar. 2. The Device Manager should appear. Locate the Network Adapter drop down, and choose the adapter you wish to uninstall. After uninstalling the network driver , restart your unit.

Now try to connect to internet and check

What is the model number of your Aspire 3 laptop (this number N20C6 is NOT what your laptop model is known by or identified by) your Aspire 3 has a number on the underneath sticker with a number like this »> A315-xx-xxxx number which is the real identifiable model number of your laptop, as then we can give you a more precise answer to what is happening with your Wi-Fi card.

You can refresh the Wi-Fi driver by going to Device Manager > Network adapters > Your Wi-Fi card > Properties > Driver > Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > then pick the latest driver that is in that list, if there is only one drive pick that driver and pick Next > Closed and reboot the laptop, as this should make your Wi-Fi work.

If your Wi-Fi does not work then you need to install your Aspire 3 model number Acer oem Wi-Fi driver that is on the Acer support page, as that driver works. Good luck.
