Register an Acer laptop, getting the message "this laptop is already registered"

I have two acer laptops, one that is registered and that I can see on the Acer site with the correst SN number, and one that is not. I have tried to register the second laptop with a different SN number but I keep getting the message "this laptop is already registered" I am told to ask for assistance but there is no where I can get a correct answer to this problem. Thank you for your help.

    We can't help either, we are all just other Acer users, not Acer support. You have to contact them through the website…
