I have a ConceptD CN515-51-70R8 & the Paint is peeling from Bottom Bezel

Hello, I have a ConceptD CN515-51-70R8 purchased in August 2021. It has the i7 8705G/16 paired with an Radeon RX Vega M GL. Now, it has been noticed that paint is peeling from Bottom Bezel. Therefore, I need answers that does it my laptop will stop working at one point? Or the peeled paint life is finished but laptop will work as per its performance? Can I get a support to fix it after the expiry of warranty? Can I put a sticking transparent tape to avoid further damage of paint peeling?

That is not covered under warranty as its wear and tear of your laptop and its your responsibility to keep your laptop in good condition, as and especially the lower case where the laptop sits on is susceptible to allot of wear and Acer does not know how you used this laptop, hence and why its not covered beyond the warranty period.

Also, what do you mean by bottom bezel, do you mean the Lower Case of your ConceptD CN515-71 laptop? As your laptop only has an LCD Bezel not a bottom case bezel 😀? Also, the lower case is NOT painted but its top plastic layer must be peeling off and you can sick it with clear tape or use hot glue to glue that bit of the top layer together.

If you want to get a new lower case then the below caption shows the ConceptD CN515-71 laptop Acer part number, so search the web for this part number or get into contact with Acer in your country to get this specialist part as the ConceptD CN515-71 laptop is not a common laptop that you can get parts from on the web easily. And if you do get a lower case, you will need to transfer all the laptops mainboard and screen and screen hinges and other components to the new lower case which is a tedious job and a time-consuming lengthy job. Thanks for your valued response…. Yes, my laptop's lower case paint is peeling off. I already put a transperent plastic tape to avoid further peeling of paint. Hopefully, the heat dissipation will not be an issue. However, I am laptop on Laptop Stand in a good air conditioned envoronment without much dust. Please reply again, if the heat dissipation is an issue by sticling a plastic very thin transperent tape at the lower case i.e. back of the laptop.
