Aspire Z24-890 How do I find out which drivers & Bios files might be outdated?

I've updated my Aspire Z24-890 to Windows 11, and I've discovered that Acer Care Center doesn't play well with it, so I deleted it.

Is there another way to search for outdated drivers, or to see if my BIOS needs to be updated? When I look at the list of drivers on the drivers page, it's hard to match what's listed with the ones in Device Manager, because most that are installed are Windows drivers (most of which are dated 2006), not those from the manufacturer.

Help please!

Let Windows 11 manage updates. It does a good job. Acer provides Microsoft with most updates these days.

What are you trying to fix/resolve ?

If it isn't broken, leave it alone.

Be careful looking on the Acer drivers pages for your device as some are old, some are for other variants of your model.

If you are a gamer you can update GPU drivers directly from the GPU manufacturers driver page - NVIDIA and AMD etc

I have a BIOS update listed for my desktop on my Acers product page but won't be updating it as the update is definitely for a different variant of my model (wrong CPU) !

Thanks, Sunnycoast. This was helpful, especially about being sure of my model and possible variants when it comes to BIOS updates.

Every now and again I get notifications from 3rd-party software that I have outdated drivers. I know that they're trying to sell me a driver update program, an "opportunity" I ignore. At the same time, I like to check to see if they're right. That's how I jumped into the driver rabbit hole!

    Thanks again.
