My USB microphone quality is horrible when plugged into my Aspire 3 A315-51

I have an Aspire 3 and recently I just got a brand new USB microphone for the first time. After plugging it in and listening over to the audio, the microphone is extremely quiet and a little muffled despite it being the recommended amount of decimals for the microphone through the sound properties. The microphone also peaks randomly. I tried to search up solutions for my issue and have come across no fix so far. All my drivers say they are up to date, the right device is chosen and it's not an issue with the microphone itself. When plugged into my mother's Mac it sounds absolutely perfect upon first plugging it in. I'm not sure how to fix the issue? Please help.

Plug it in with an 3.5mm jack adaptor as it has inbuilt audio dack , if your 3.5mm jack is already in use then get an external audio jack and plug every audio device through it . USB can do audio but is not recommended for best sound quality
