in device manager i see Unknown Device on Windows 11

Hi!

In the Device Manager of Windows 11, I find myself with an unknown device. I've tried the drivers available on Acer and I've also re-installed the drivers supplied from both AMD and Nvidia to no avail. It's very annoying to have that there, not sure if it affects anything.

I've used pclookup and found that "vendor" on one of the properties seem to be AMD.

Anyone got any ideas what it is or how I can get a driver for it?

    Change the Property to show the Hardware ID and show us that…

    It's a Swift SFX16-61G. I'm hoping this has something to do why it insists on using USB 3.0 to my USB-dock (Lenovo TB4 model).

    Before reinstalling AcerSense uninstall all drivers with yellow exclamation marks and (also greyed out) Unknown Devices in Device Manager expand the Hidden Devices and check those too.

    Thanks @eGomes,I tried installing AcerSense before I wrote the post, but tried again. I still get this::

    Does this have anything to do with me upgrading my Windows Installation to Windows 11 Pro?

    I have installed the Chipset Drivers and also tried going directly to both AMD and Nvidia to install their drivers directly.

    It's the Device Enabling Service Driver and that is available on the support site for download. I'm a bit surprised Windows update didn't suggest it in the optional updates section.

    Considering the history of problems I've had with the Acer Care Center (ACC) in the past. I don't trust the Acer Sense software. And I particularly recommend installing the minimum version of this component (driver only):

    Hi! Thanks for all the help.

    Thanks to using the Microsoft Update Catalog as @eGomes suggested, I managed to get rid of the Unknown Device, but I still have a bunch of other devices that seem vital that lacks drivers.

    I've not had this many driver issues since fiddling with computers in the 90s. :(
