Hello everyone!

I have a Predator Helios 300 PH317-52-73P6 laptop running Windows 11. Recently, I've been facing an issue where, after leaving the laptop open for an extended period, it fails to wake up properly. The display remains off, and the laptop seems frozen, with the fan running loudly. Strangely, the laptop is not overheated. The only solution is to hold down the power button to force a restart.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem or has insights into what might be causing this issue? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Windows11 Modern Standby protocol (the new Sleep mode) will revert to hibernate after several hours, you need to press the Power Button on the keyboard to resume. MS recommends disabling both Hibernate and Fast Startup in "Change what closing the lid does" and "Change settings currently unavailable". Also best to use Windows default Power Plan and not Custom plans. Reset the Power Plan advanced settings to factory defaults also helps. I have a 2023 15" OLED laptop fully updated to W11 23H2 build 22631.3235 that I forgot to shut down last night and this morning the laptop just woke as soon as I opened the lid so check for updates (I disabled Hibernate and Fast Startup and use Balanced Power Plan with default advanced Power Plan settings). When retiring or for long breaks it may be better to leave the power adapter plugged in or shut down the laptop completely to conserve battery charge.
