I upgraded to Windows 11 through a clean install (first I installed beta and then did a clean install). Over time it's getting very slow and the fans are always on high speed. Sometimes it struggles with the Edge browser as well. I used to play FTA, Forza Horizon on this without many issues but now I cannot even launch it. I ran a userbench score sharing details below: PC came with 8 GB ram and later I upgraded to 16GB. Can someone help me to fix this issue?

UserBenchmarks: Game 9%, Desk 42%, Work 8%
CPU: Intel Core i7-8750H - 31.4%
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti (Mobile) - 18.8%
SSD: HFS128G39TND-N210A 128GB - 27.8%
HDD: HGST Travelstar 7K1000 2.5" 1TB - 60.5%
RAM: Hynix HMA81GS6AFR8N-UH 859B CB8GS2666.C8RT 16GB - 38.1%
MBD: Acer Nitro AN515-52

When you purchase the computer , what operating system it was shipped with.

If it was shipped with windows 10 you can go back to windows 10. Please provide us the model no.

RAM: DDR4 2400/2666 SODIMM memory. Number of available slots: 2 x DDR4 SODIMMs, Supports memory size per socket: 4GB/8GB/16GB. Maximum memory up to 32GB. What RAM modules have you installed, 2x8GB or 1x16GB? if 2x 8GB are the modules identical (brand, speed, CL, ranking and PC) or mixed? Replacing the slow HDD "spinner" for a fast Samsung 870 EVO SSD will double system performance and replacing the slow Hynix Sata-3 SSD for a fast M.2 NVMe SSD (Gen3x4 of at least 512Gb tested by Acer) will further speed things up. The Samsung 970 Pro 500GB would be a good choice.

Then there is system maintenance, updating drivers/Windows and uninstalling bloatware and 3rd-party browsers and AV programs, trial programs and Cloud syncing (disable cloud). After you have done all that let me know if things have improved.

@Puraw I just cleaned up the insides and pasted new thermal paste and now the results are much better, Only GPU is underperforming. to answer your question, I have 2x8 gb ram, both are not identical, 1 is stock 8gb and I added another 8 gb from crucial basics 8gb ddr4 2666mhz

So you are not running at maximum speed 2667MHz, get a kit 2x8GB that will run in Dual Chanel mode.
