Hello i want to upgrade my GPU from 2060 to 4060 or 3060. What do i need to do i have seen that 4060 is really efficient in voltage usage. Can someone help me with this dilemma and if i need to upgrade a PSU to give me some recommendations for a PSU and maybe adapters so i can use with mine PC.

You can't upgrade your N50-110 desktop to the RTX4060, as ideally you need the new 300W minimum (higer wattage is preferable) PSU with a 24pin ATX plug that has PCI power with a 12pin plug, as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX4060 graphics card draws power from one 12-pin power connector which you don’t have on the N50-110, as this desktop has a single rail proprietary 300W or 500W Acer PSU. The 12pin connector supplies the necessary power for the card to operate efficiently. Additionally, the RTX4060 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 interface, which the N50-110 desktop doesn't have. Also, you can't upgrade the Acer proprietary PSU that has an ATX1-6-Pin ATX power connector to connect toa 24pin new PSU that are sold today and are suitable to power the RTX4060.

You would be much better off upgrading to the new N50-650 that has a i7-13700F cpu and comes oem with an RTX™ 3060 gpu, but this new Nitro N50-650 still only has a mainboard with an ATX1-8-Pin 500W Acer proprietary PSU so you can't upgrade that to a higher PSU power also. If you want an Acer prebuilt desktop with an RTX4060 gpu, you need to buy the Predator Orion range of desktops that are the higher spec Acer prebuilt desktops. Good luck and hope this helps you out. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    N50-110 desktop ATX-1 6pin plug @ #2, btw @ #1 is the WPOWER1-Wireless charger power header.

You need this 24pin mainboard plug for the new standard PSUs or the modular PSUs on the matket today, that can power the RTX4060 gpu.

the reference board design (founders edition) for the 4060 shows you will need a PSU of 300w for the TDP of 115w and the 2060 needs a PSU of 450w for a TDP of 160w. So, like you said, you are good for power because the 4060 is more efficient 😀

some 4060’s may have a new power connector called a 12-pin power connector. Most 4060s should come with an adapter in the box to convert standard 8/6/4 pin power connectors to 12-pin. This is the only issue you should look out for. If you do run into trouble with this, it is an easy fix, as you just need to buy an inexpensive adapter.

on the left is the older more standard power connector your 2060 probably uses and on the right is the new one your 4060 might use depending on which brand you buy it from

Another thing you will have to do is properly uninstall the 2060 drivers and then install the 4060 drivers. You can do this manually by using windows control panel and the nvidia website to download the new drivers, or you can use the nvidia GeForce experience app which will do most of the work for you.

Last thing I almost forgot. Open your PC and measure the space you have inside for the LENGTH of the card to make sure it will physically fit. Most 4060 cards should not be bigger than a 2060 but better to be safe than sorry!
