How can I get PredatorSense to work again?

in Predator Laptops

No keyboard lights, no information about the system available from within PredatorSense. Just blank pages. I've troubleshooted, sfc, chkdsk, uninstalled, reinstalled PredatorSense, doesn't work any more. Chat Support doesn't have a clue but many people seem to be having this issue. I'm about to give up.

    -Uninstall app DTX:Utra(DtsApo4Service). Mist of problems was cause by this. It's alternative is THX Spatial Audio

    -Download the free version of Revo uninstaller and uninstalled predator sense with it. It's important to let revo scan after uninstall because it'll find garbage files in registry that sense leaves behind and probably corrupts any new install.

    Once I let it clear those files, download predator sense from the acer website and installed it.

    Someone who was facing similar problem. This solve his.

    Don't find anything in apps, under program name found DTS Sound Unbound and DTS-X Ultra ? I remember opening that app somewhere and trying to add more volume to my sytem and it seemed to help a little. Should I be able to find DtsApo4Servcie?

    I'll give all this a try. I couldn't install Revo because of Malwarebytes kept flagging it for PUPS. Found one that removed all related files and registry items too. Thanks

    I read something about using the older predatorsense file when downloading, but I tried that too. And, I believe it wouldn't install. Acted like it did but it was finished in a second and nothing appeared. So I guess I'll try the only other one that is there that doesn't seem to work.

    That didn't work, really behaved strangely that time… couldn't find it in running processes after it froze up. It finally showed up after scrolling up and down a bunch. This is some weird stuff.
