Ok here is my question / issue.
When I bought this model laptop I opened the box, unpacked and turned on.. so far, so good.
I did notice that no recovery media was present.
I am aware of the Acer software recovery program and also windows 11 backup.
My question is this.. if I chose to remove all partitions and use a different operating system, how can I restore this laptop to it's factory state when I first turned it on?
Example.. I remove all partitions, run a different os, chose to go back to windows 11 or another example would be if I chose to sell this laptop in the future how can I restore it?
I emailed the main technical support in the country I bought this laptop in, they said it's hidden in the SSD and for security reasons they do not provide the image file from Acer.
I found this confusing since on Acers website it states that if the customer would like to obtain this to contact Acer in the country they reside
It was recommended that I bring the laptop to their tech support headquarters to have this done by them.
I am an microcomputer specialist with multiple industry certifications and also a computer science degree so i feel their suggestions are valid if I was new to computers. I cannot understand what the issue is regarding sending me the factory image to restore my laptop when Acer states that if the customer would like the recovery media they can request it.
