hello! need ur help! so i bought an "HDD upgrade kit cable" for my Acer predator, when i plugged it into my pc and turned it on it started burning! so i thought that its the wrong cable and its for another model, then i bought another one that the seller mentioned it support my laptop model, and when i tried it, it got burnt (not all of it like the old cable, but just the 8th pin of it), can someone please tell me why all the cables get burnt?

You should order the HDD cable by the ACER part number that is meant for your full Predator model number. There are many predator models that have different Acer cable part numbers.

What is your full Predator model number? For example, PH315-42? Or PH517-72?

Your part no. NB.X0002.TS00 doesn't seem to match the PH315-52 HDD part no 50.Q5MN4.005. But neither cable should get "burnt" unless the HDD itself is defective.

I use USB boxes so I can check a disk for any reason in the event of a machine fault
