How to disable the Acer Predator X45 Image Retention reminder message/screen ?
The reminder screen is distracting and during the day when I am working I can't let the process run and turn of my monitor for 5-6mins.
Is there a way to disable the notification reminder screen ?
Here is what the screen looks like when I manually select it through the menu. The popup version is very similar and mentions you should run the process every 4 hours.

Because OLED can easily suffer image burn-in from static images/high temperatures/long periods of usage, it is set to remind you to do the Image Retention Refresh every 4 hours of using it. The notification cannot be disabled.
You can try turning on/off the monitor before the notification appears to see if it resets the notification time.

That's a good joke, but how do we disable that notification?0 -

That's a shame since it's essentially a bug that puts the monitor into a damaged state. Is Acer doing anything to rectify the situation?0 -
I do not like that "feature", the worse thing of the monitor is that annoying popup, especially if you got a meeting on the other computer and you accidentally press the "yes" button.
Then you will be late for that meeting :)

Any solution to this yet? Definitely a distraction when gaming. Best i can do is turn up the transparency.
