Aspire 1760-Upgrading power supply, there are no cords on my PSU that would fit in the 1650

I bought a 1650, thinking it was motherboard based but I was wrong. There are no cords on my PSU that would fit in the 1650 and I’m wondering if there is any power supplies that would fit in the pc work with the motherboard and my GPU.

The TC-1760 desktop has a proprietary Acer mainboard and single rail PSU, if your GTX1650 requires a 6pin power plug then you need to buy a new PSU that has these PCIe 6 and 8pin power cords. The TC-1760 mainboard requires an 8pin ATX power plug from its PSU, you can get a 24pin to 8pin adapter so that you can upgrade to the newer multi rail modular PSUs like a 550W that will power your desktop and the gpu. Try that as that is the only option you have, otherwise you can't use that GTX1650 gpu. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

the same issue. I bought a new motherboard and GPU, but they won't power on. It seems the PSU might not work without a 24-to-8 pin adapter to complete the circuit. I purchased a similar adapter on eBay, but it says it's compatible with Dell computers. Could the pin configuration be the same for an Acer Aspire 1760? Also, the Acer motherboard only uses 4 out of the 8 pins on its connector. Will the correct 12V reach the motherboard in this setup?

If you bought a new mainboard you should have bought a 24pin ATX power type so that you can use the new modular 24pin PSUs for the TC-1760 desktops, Below is the TC-1760 desktops 8pin and the 6pin ATX plugs pin configuration, so see if the 8 to 24pin adapter will work, as the 8ppin have 4x + and4 x - pins. good luck.

A 24 to 8 pin adapter will not work, since the connector that includes the power on signal is a 6 pin on the Acer motherboard. You would need a 24 to 6 pin adapter to work with the Acer motherboard.
