The Wi-Fi adapter not working. Windows shut it down. What is to do?

    Open Device Manager. Right click on and uninstall any device drivers with yellow or red warning symbols. Exit Device Manager without re-installing any drivers. Shut down Windows normally. Then turn machine back on and let Windows automatically re-dectect and re-install fresh copies of the device drivers.

    If that doesn't fix it, and you are out of warranty, the AX201 replacement cards are fairly inexpensive.
