My Laptop screen won't turn on, though the Laptop is powered on.

I bought a Predator Helios Neo 16 last month. Yesterday while I was working my Screen suddenly turned black. After 2-3 minutes, I restarted by pressing the power key. It opened normally, but again after a few minutes, the screen got static white. This time when I restarted, the keyboard lit up, but the screen remained turned off. Moreover, I cannot hear the booting sound, but when I enter my password from the keyboard, the login sound is heard. I tried restarting several times, but the same problem exists. Can anyone suggest any solution?

Your laptop must have an EC chip problem that needs checking by Acer Tech Support, send you laptop there and don't open the laptop or try to fix this yourself as you will void the 2year Acer warranty. This problem is usually fixed with a Hard Reset as the EC chip sometimes freezes and needs to be reset by taking the main battery out, disconnecting the RTC/BIOS battery and shortening the battery +&- plug pins at the mainboard to reset the CMOS and taking the ram out, which in most cases fixes this EC freeze problem and resets the laptop.

But a hard reset might not fix this problem also and then the mainboard needs to be changed, which on a Predator PHN16-71 model laptop is very expensive and costs like USD $2,681.39 sold at Zandparts, which the parts and labor on these laptops are sometimes more than what the laptop is worth new, so let Acer tech support fix this problem for you and be patient with waiting for the repair by Acer. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
