Windows security won't allow you to downgrade a BIOS version for a very good reason. All you can try is to reset BIOS to factory defaults in BIOS press F9 and save settings on exit. If that did not work bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to reset BIOS for a small service fee.

The slowness of your Aspire E5-571G laptop is NOT because of the upgrading of the bios to version 1.32, its because the laptop is slow e.g. HDD or not enough ram or the OS is not setup correctly. Run this laptop at its max total of 16GB @ 2x 8GB 16GB DDR3-1600MHz type ram and upgrade its 2.5" mechanical boot drive to a 2.5" SSD boot drive, as that will speed your laptop up 100%.

You must have a mechanical HDD that is slow and may be on its way, don't forget that this laptop is going on being 10-year-old. Don't try to do anything to this laptops bios as you will brick the bios chip and you will need to either reprogram the chip by a specialist technician or change the bios chip. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

    Memory suitable for the E5-571G
