New Acer Swift 3 Fan is Very Loud - How can I get help?

I purchased a Swift 3 on 2/10/24, booted it up 2 days ago for 1st time. All I've done is run latest updates and transfer files from old laptop, but when just browsing the web the laptop fan gets extremely noisy. I fear something is faulty with this model but wanted to contact support before I give up on this product all together… However, the SNID for my device is mapped to the wrong serial #, so I can't get in touch with ACER support! Per my serial #, I am under warranty until February 2025, whereas my SNID returns a different model and 2013 warranty expiration date. I purchased this laptop directly from the Acer site so I am pretty baffled by this headache.

What is the exact Swift 3 model number laptop that you have, it should be something like Swift 3 SF314-511-xxxx. The serial number and SNID numbers are all written on the back sticker of your laptop, To register your new Swift 3 laptop, you need to open an Acer account first and register your Swift 3 with the serial number NOT the SNID number, as the SNID can come up with the wrong model (its happened to me with an older Aspire) as there are some errors. Try only registering your laptop with the serial number and see if it registers, if not contact Acer in your country and tell them about the problem

Also, the Swift 3 laptops do run hot when they are worked especially when its being updated by windows, this is momentarily but then the cpu fan get quitter after the cpu is cooled down, so you have nothing to worry about.

Open Acer Quick Access ap and enable Silent Mode, that controls the fan speed, different versions just show User Mode and then select "Silent".

Also be sure you are on the right web site to register your Swift, different locales use different sites, and each seems to have it's own database. If you were on the wrong locale that might explain the duplicated SNIDs.
